En septiembre de 1992 la Central de inteligencia envía a las delegaciones un requerimiento solicitando información sobre toda actividad a desarrollarse en conmemoración del aniversario de La noche de los lápices. El 14 de septiembre, la delegación La Plata informa que remite panfleto de la Unión de Estudiantes Secundarios. Textualmente expresa: “Medios propios abocados a la tarea de reunión de información han logrado obtener un ejemplar del volante distribuido en la fecha”.
